Sleeping in later every day- thanks noisy neighbours!

Yesterday was great! Mom and dad started moving around quickly and taking things in and out of bags so I got really excited! When the connector cord when on, I nearly bonked both if them in the head!

We started out on another adventure that took us to a new place- oh the SMELZ!!!

Then mom and dad starting hitting each other. I was up front and occasionally I was also getting tapped on my back/ hind region. Then we abruptly turned around send headed home. Mom and dad were really irritated and kept repeating, “it’s August! What’s with these Mosquitos!?!”

Then back at home, we all got into our yellow wraps and went to the big green floaty thing. That was fun too.

Mom took some pics but not with her phone- so she’ll upload them later- just know that I look AWESOME!

After that we came home for cuddle time and I spent time in dads hammock.

More walks were enjoyed and I found the best sticks up here!!

And the firey ball in the sky was very orange last night

Even dad took some great pics down by the water!

Oh and then the noisy neighbours kept dropping things until super late! Going to bark at their tent now:->

Rain and thunder… But no biggie

Those of you who follow me on twitter ( @sprocketminpin) or my mom on Facebook, already saw yesterday’s close up:

And this was my artwork

And it made me very tired

All of this took place at the end of a roller coaster day.
First, mom tried letting me go back to bed after our morning walk, and it was lovely.
So when I heard the rain sound, I was already in the best possible place, and I still am not sure why we had to go driving about. But apparently dad broke his sandals and well, I did get to sniff around a fun little town. The most popular place at 11 am, Wednesday morning, is called the LCBO.
There was an alternating button in the rain and sun, but every day seems to be like that here.
We did go for a but of a walk too where I could climb a mountain:

And then new neighbours with two little two-leggers who are very squeaky arrived:

And then there was the digging…
Another full day chez T2Camping! Hey wait, they need to update the site name!

Another sunshiny day!

Yesterday was a lazy day.
When we awoke after an overnight shower or two, we thought it might be a rainy day ( turns out that’s today- but it’s just getting started so I will talk about today tomorrow! ).
It was a bit overcast, but really I found lots of sunspots to lie down in!
And I got to spend the day harness free ( it really absorbed a lot of water from the day before ( swimming/canoe time), and my collar is almost like a mini choke chain, so mom figured I should be manageable around camp.

So we played around the campground and I met an adorable boxer named Tosser who has a pretty brindle pattern on his fur. 7 months old and he tolerates my crazy barking play!

There is also a striking Black and Tan Manchester Terrier here but he’s not friendly. Our moms chatted and then laughed as we began to defend our space to each other! Two-leggers!

I think I can still sleep in a bit more, so back to my blankie for me! I can hear the rain and some thunder so I think I will be in JALE a bit today- road trip maybe!!

Day 4 – ended with a bath

So another day, some sunshine, some dogs met and some serious napping.
In the middle of it all, we went for a drive ( back into JALE for me) and then walked along this trail of wood.
It had done fun moments of rocks overlooking some trees…

You can see from out family portrait how much goofy fun we were having!

Then later…

Apparently this “hand me down” life jacket from Boing did not need any adjusting at all. And we headed off into the crazy floating bowl.
Dad has some pics here I think:

There will be pics of me splashing about in the cool water, having fun etc. but we did not get photos of me getting a bath. Too many hands needed for the procedure! Mom brought the @pawsonearth über envirofriendly bar of soap I won a few months ago and … No more wet dog smell!
Curled up in my warm blanket in JALE while mom and dad played cards. Thank goodness for my Laurablanket for sleeping !
Zzzz

Chilly morning…

Last night was cold and this morning is still chilly ( mom says its 4 degrees Celsius ). But I slept fine- blankies and snuggling are all I need!

This mornings walk :

Fog made me a bit skittish- I could not see if any of those long things with a half person in the middle were floating on the water this morning.

But I met a red retriever who was very sweet, so that was cool. Some of yesterday’s dogs were very barky!

But now I am curled up on moms lap- I am helping keep her warm.

Another camping day ahead!

Morning 2- to get up or not…

Yesterday was sunshine and lying in the dirt, walks and naps!
Then it started to rain and I was able to snuggle in my JALE while mom and dad put stuff away and talked about “hail”.
I met lots of other dogs, most were guarding their turf, but a few were on the walkabouts.
I did get up twice during the night so I am enjoying a sleep in today ….

“Camping” a roller coaster ride of emotions…

Yesterday mom and dad spent the morning confining me to different rooms at home- at least I made that squeaker stop ( another toy bites the dust)!
They then moved my crate, “JALE” to the car and finally I got to see what the fuss was about!
Zoom zoom and off we went!
They let me out a few times and the SMELZ!! Such newness everywhere I could not contain myself !!
JALE got taken out of the car, and they had only let me out for a few minutes, when I was back in and everything looked greenish! The tapping noise above my head, nearly drove me nuts – and obviously was making mom and dad crazy as they were moving with such speed. Moving things and I got tired of watching so I dozed.

When they finally came back to see me, They lifted the “trp” and revealed our new home.

More flurry and we finally went for a walk .
By then it was dark and the SMELZ were again so exciting. Then I spotted it- it was almost as big as my head! I have never seen one before but I had to taste it! Before mom and dad could stop me I had it! Squishy and wriggly, it was so exciting!!!
Suddenly mom and dad are yelling “off” ?!? What?!? I must chew!!!
But they were so upset I dropped it, and then mom carried me for a while ranting about frogs and toads….

Then I threw up. For about an hour, every 5 minutes. But it stopped, and mom gave me a bit if food and some magical “DarBread” which made me feel better- even though it was only tiny tastes!

We tucked into our new house and thank goodness mom brought my Laurablankie so I could feel warm and snuggly!
Lets see what the day holds- but not right away, I am warm in here!
